Here are a few things I have learned and observed during the past few months.

• it pays to be nice--it always comes back around
• customer service is not overrated
• the world looks a whole lot better when you have had some sleep
• next to the wheel, the air conditioner may be the greatest invention
• man cannot survive on granola bars alone
• wear good shoes
• coupons really are a good idea
• you can never drink too much water
• chocolate always makes things better
• having parents with a cold basement is a lifesaver
• patience is a virtue I want RIGHT NOW

I'll probably think of more things later, but here it is for now.
