Bountiful Handcart Days Parade 2009

My mom, dad, Julie and I went to the Handcart Days parade in Bountiful on July 23. It was so hot!!! Talk about sit and sweat! My mom set up chairs that morning, but then when the parade started they were in the sun so we ended up sitting across the street 6 rows back, under a tree. It was a little cooler.

This is the float that my parent's stake submitted. It was very colorful, animated and fun. The next day at the Salt Lake Days of '47 parade they won the sweepstakes award and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers award.
